Established in 1886 as the Birmingham and Midland Operatic Society, and these days more colloquially known as BMOS Musical Theatre Company, it proudly celebrates 140 years as Birmingham's leading amateur musical theatre company.

BMOS is steeped in history but is also one of the most modern and forward thinking companies in the region. We have the privilege of performing one/twice a year in Birmingham’s professional Alexandra Theatre (The Alex), having first performed at the original Alexandra Theatre way back in 1923.

We also enjoy performing concerts at other venues as well as corporate and charity events; we are always happy to discuss opportunities.
